Meet James and Tom

James McClean came to coaching through years of his own personal work and a desire to help others move toward the life God is calling them to. Meet our coaches and choose your next step

What happens on a free call with James?

  1. Meet James. Share what you want to change. General terms are enough; you do not need to tell your whole story.
  2. Ask your questions. Talk through how coaching works, the cost, and whether it fits what you are looking for.
  3. Choose your next step. Take time to decide whether to work together. There is no obligation to enroll.

Get to know James before you book, or send him a question.

Turn the desire to change into something you can practice.

You may know the kind of life you want and still find yourself repeating choices that pull you away from it. Coaching gives you time to look honestly at what is happening and choose practical steps you can follow through on.

With your coach, you can work on:

  • Recognizing recurring situations and the choices you make in them.
  • Taking responsibility for secrecy and the impact of your behavior.
  • Building boundaries and honest accountability that fit daily life.
  • Practicing communication and following through on commitments.
  • Connecting everyday decisions with your faith and values.

Sessions are collaborative. You bring your goals and real experiences; together, you choose an action to practice, reflect on what happened, and adjust your next step. Scripture and prayer can be part of that work when meaningful to you.

Taking responsibility for your own growth also means respecting your partner's boundaries and choices. Their trust or reconciliation is not something coaching can promise or require.

Questions you may be bringing.

What if I've already tried to change?

You do not need a record of perfect progress to begin. We can look at what you have tried, what gets in the way of following through, and what a more realistic next step could look like. Coaching does not guarantee a particular result.

Can I work with a coach if I have a therapist?

Coaching may complement therapy when the roles are clear. Therapy remains the appropriate setting for clinical assessment and treatment. Coaching focuses on goals, decisions, and practical action; any coordination with your therapist requires your permission.

What does coaching cost?

James’s individual coaching is $80 for a 60-minute session, or $560 for eight sessions. You can ask about his options on the free discovery call, with no obligation to enroll. Tom’s individual online sessions are $160 for 60 minutes; his pricing and booking policies are separate. See the coaching options and terms.

Do I need to describe everything on the first call?

No. James’s discovery call is an introduction, not an assessment or a formal disclosure. You can describe your goals in general terms and ask what working together involves.

Start with something useful.
