For betrayed partners
Your needs deserve room, too.
When a partner's pornography use, secrecy, or infidelity changes the relationship you thought you knew, you may have more questions than answers. This space is for your own support and next steps.

Individual coaching offers time to clarify what matters to you, consider your boundaries, and make decisions at your own pace. You do not have to arrive with a decision about the relationship.
Conversations can focus on:
- Clarifying your needs, values, and questions.
- Identifying boundaries and how you want to communicate them.
- Considering practical choices and the support you want around you.
- Distinguishing your responsibilities from your partner's.
- Choosing a manageable next step without rushing a larger decision.
Your partner's behavior is not yours to manage. Coaching does not ask you to monitor them, pressure you to reconcile, or tell you whether to stay or leave.
Christian faith can be part of these conversations. Prayer and Scripture are available when meaningful to you; your faith should not be used to rush your decisions or dismiss your boundaries.
What would help you today?
Take a few quiet minutes to notice what you need. You can keep your answers private and choose one small act of care.
- Body. Have I had water and a meal? Would rest or a short walk feel helpful?
- Feelings. What am I feeling right now? What would give me a little more room to think?
- Connection. Who could listen without pressing me to make a decision?
- Faith. Is there a prayer or Scripture I want to return to today? What would I like to bring honestly to God?
If you want more room to reflect, the Support and Boundaries worksheet can help you name a need and consider a next step.
Questions you may be bringing.
Does my partner need to participate?
No. This is individual support focused on your goals, boundaries, and decisions. It is not couples therapy, a formal disclosure process, or a way to supervise your partner's coaching.
What if I do not know whether I want to stay?
You do not need to decide before reaching out. Coaching can help you organize your questions and think through practical next steps. The decision about the relationship remains yours.
Can I forgive and still keep a boundary?
Yes. You can bring forgiveness to God in prayer and still say what you need today. Trust takes shape as you see honesty, accountability, and respect for your choices over time. You get to decide what contact feels safe and whether you want to explore reconciliation.
If someone asks you to move faster, one way to answer is, “I’m willing to talk on Saturday. I need you to give me space until then.” Choose words and a boundary that fit your situation.
Is this therapy for betrayal trauma?
No. Renewed Integrity offers nonclinical coaching, not trauma treatment or psychotherapy. If you need clinical assessment or treatment, a qualified mental health professional is the appropriate resource. Coaching may complement that care when the roles are clear.
What if my coach also works with my partner?
Ask about this before sharing personal details. Any overlap needs a clear conversation about fit, privacy, and possible conflicts. Do not assume information can be shared between separate coaching relationships.
Resources to consider at your own pace.
